Early morning house fire in Narberth

Fire at Forrest and Woobine avenues, Narberth, Pa., early Aug. 5, 2011.
No injuries were reported in a house fire that was quickly contained in Narberth early Friday on Forrest Avenue about two blocks north of Mapes 5 & 10. Neighbors smelled smoke and spotted fire on the first floor of the unoccupied, two-story house that was vacated in July by a renting family. Firefighters carried out several tubfuls of smoldering debris and hosed them down.
