Georges Perrier & friends toasting the new bakery

Georges Perrier greets friends, fans and customers during a low-key salute Friday afternoon (6/10/11) to his new bakery & cafe, Art of Bread by Georges Perrier, in Narberth. The bakery served sparkling wine, handed out baguettes and distributed carry-out menus to the celebratory gathering that was warm, both in the affectionate sense (lots of French cheek-pecking) and in the temperature sense — the shop was noticeably toasty.  Several dozen people attended the celebration for the bakery/cafe, which opened its doors on Wednesday.
