Big heart, nice beat

Icaro -- they make marimbas from them. Neron the dog. Luki. New dog Oleander. Double hibiscus
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago ditched its walk-through heart a few years ago for this high-tech version that throbs and shifts through various internal views. If you grip a sensor bar, your cardiac rhythm is transferred into the 13-foot-tall heart model and you can see the beat of your own heart. For those who need a walk-through heart, the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia still has its classic heart exhibit, opened in 1954 and renovated in 2004.  Both hearts get an extra pulse of attention on Valentine’s Day.
