Not an abstract question

Pickets posed an artful question on Friday outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where they called attention to the efforts of museum guards who have asked — to no avail — that the museum use its influence to help them get better wages, health benefits and treatment from their employer, AlliedBarton Security Services.  The demonstrators invoked Picasso, who championed social justice, because of the museum’s latest big show, “Picasso and the Avant-Garde in Paris,” which opened Feb. 24 and runs through April 25.  The protest was part of a campaign to that has drawn the support of Jobs With Justice and unions.
