Bad day at the produce market

Produce market crash
Produce market crashA trip to Produce Junction took a bad turn Tuesday when, while trying to park, a driver’s front tires lodged in a curbside pothole. When she hit the gas, the car surged forward and crashed through the garage door of a property next to the produce market in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia. She was unhurt.  A firetruck and FD ambulance arrived, but an hour later she was still impatiently awaiting the cops and AAA to pull out the car. Passers-by came to her assistance, but when they offered to call a friend to come sit with her, the feisty old lady asked: What’s the point in that? Finally she rose from the chair that had been provided for her and went in to do some produce shopping before the store closed at 5:30.
