The covered bridge along Forbidden Drive
A painter ponders her strokes from the far side of the covered bridge over Wissahickon Creek at the intersection of Forbidden Drive and Thomas Mill Road. The arcing wooden floor of the bridge makes up the foreground of the photo. The Thomas Mill Road bridge, built in 1737, is said to the only covered bridge within a major U.S. city.
