Pedicab passengersThe pedicab business is competitive, and this guy’s marketing consultant must have advised him that tourists might balk at the idea of a mere man pumping along New York’s congested streets like a beast of burden. (Some people hate horses pulling carriages in Central Park, after all.) But being garbed as a super-pedaler — that sends a message of strength and endurance, or so the conventioneers leaving the Javits Center will think. He hopes.
