Up for air, anhinga style

Anhinga head
The head of an aquatic bird called the anhinga protrudes above the clogged surface of a stagnate backwater of the Hillsborough River in Hillsborough County, Fla. The anhinga swims with its body submerged, sticking its head up briefly for air before fully disappearing into the water in its search for food.
