Darfur, kids’ view
11Sep08

Jim Remsen, interim executive director of the Darfur Alert Coalition, displays drawings by children who survived attacks on their villages in Darfur, Sudan. The pictures poignantly blend innocent images with strewn bodies and warplanes dropping bombs. The Darfur coalition has several dozen of the original drawings and arranges for public displays around the country as part of its education and advocacy work. Darfur Alert is based in Philadelphia.
