Chillin’ at the zoo

With a heat wave bearing down on Philadelphia and environs, here’s a cooling image: relief in the form of a misting machine. This one was delighting people at the St. Louis Zoo in July 2007. At the Philadelphia Zoo, three misting stations were added in early June 2008, supplementing the spray thrown from the impala fountain (right).
